HOPE LUTHERAN OPENS NEW GALLERY AREA
Over the last two years, Hope Lutheran on Providence Road in Virginia Beach has been involved in a building project that has enhanced and expanded its facilities.
A vision of the senior pastor Mark Nieting was to have a gallery wall area to bring beauty and culture into the building.
Finally his dream has been realized! When you walk out of the new Fellowship Hall towards the school wing, there are two facing walls that serve as the new gallery.
I was thrilled to have been chosen as the first artist to display my artwork there! You will get an idea of how it looks from the pictures here. You are most welcome to come and visit Hope during office hours Monday through Friday and on Sundays.

READY TO MAKE YOUR OWN BEAUTIFUL PAINTINGS?!
If you're looking to refresh your art skills or just have fun painting with some other budding artists, I am offering a 4-week cycle of oil painting classes in my home studio.
Current open classes are Thursdays at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Let me know right away if you are interested & which time you prefer so I can book you in the next Thursday class. The price will be $250 (cash or credit) for the four sessions, including canvas, materials, and clean up.
The classes will be ongoing as long as you choose to continue, with just a new payment every 4 classes. If you're waiting for your schedule to be open every week, don't worry about it, as I can be flexible to suit your needs. I am just passionate about getting you started painting!

2012 NEW YEAR COMMENTARY
It's been an interesting year! I have not made as much time for the pleasure of creating art as I have for teaching art.
I have been more of a wordsmith and a change agent through my blogging and coaching.

I've released a new book and have been busy designing and creating online through websites, videos, and other artistic & technical projects.
I am currently working on a series of books, ebooks, articles and resources to enhance my coaching clients - both in life and business success.
In the meantime, I am enjoying painting vicariously through my art students and enjoying their successes with lovely finished paintings. One student even used a photo of her painting for her Christmas card this year.
I'm finishing up the last of a series of portraits for a commission. Then I have one of my own I'd like to finish, along with some lovely scenes. I'll share them here when I've completed them.
If you've ever wanted to explore your artistic side, I'd love to teach you the amazingly simple techniques of the "Nouveau Impressionism" style I've learned. It's so much fun - and you'll be proud and delighted with the works you complete, as I guarantee it! So contact me (see above article) and let's get going!

I have 6 black Grid Panels available for displaying art or merchandise. They are 6'x2' and can be used either as freestanding, hanging or with a base (not included).
